This week at Mombasa Rose HQ, we talk about our favourite music and muses. Tune in below!

I would say my favourite style muse would be Elinkling, blogger for Style by Kling. I like her style because it's very clean, modern, simple and classic. However, she still makes everything look quite young which i like and try to embody as well. My favourite song at the moment would have to be Falling by HAIM because I went to Noosa over the Easter long weekend and this was our road trip song!

My style muse would have to be Alexandra Spencer, the blogger who runs 4th and bleeker. I like her style because it's very simple and relaxed. Her blog reminds me of a typical Calvin Klein campaign; simple jeans paired with a clean white button down and tousled, soft hair- it's elegant and effortless.
My favourite song at the moment would have to be So Good At Being In Trouble by Unknown Mortal Orchestra. I love it because it's so cruisey and catchy- it's my perfect work music!

So, my all-time classic, gotta-be-a-favourite style muses would have to be Alexa Chung and Vivienne Westwood! Two completely different styles I know, but I refer to them as my muses, not my 'style icons' for a reason; though I don't exactly emulate Vivienne Westwood's style completely, I love the way she is so out there and fearless- it makes me want to be more confident and take more risks in my own life and wardrobe! I love Alexa Chung as well because of the way she mixes boyish elements with floral, girly basics! Beautiful lace tops with rugged overalls or summery, sweetheart dresses with Doc Martins- I suppose I sort of see it as the 'new androgyny'.
My favourite song at the moment would have to be Fantasy by MS MR because it's so upbeat and yet soft- and it's such a good song to run to because it's so full of energy!
