Paris: The city of love, the city of lights and the city of fashion! What's not to love about french inspired style?
Bold reds streaked with blossoming blues and slashes of black and white, c'est très bon, non? (Translation: we-love-france-so-much-we-wish-we-could-be-teleported-there-right-now-but-we-can't-okay?-so-just-accept-that-we-will-randomly-burst-into-french. Comprende?) Check out style icons like Alexa Chung, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and even Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale who already rock this look.
Autumn is definitely upon on us, so it's time to dig out those old blue jeans and your classic boyfriend jumper! Pair them with a french-inspired black and white striped t-shirt or an audacious red top, et volia! Try to also incorporate things with gold embroidery such as gold printed shorts and tops, gold bracelets and rings and gold hair accessories (try a gold hair cuff!).
But remember, the most important thing to put off this chic-as-a-frenchie look is to KEEP IT SIMPLE. Solid colours, neat lines and not over-doing it on jewellery and makeup will achieve this. Think vintage red lipstick, classic white tipped nails and a dash of liquid eyeliner!
